About Me

My name is Nick Neuman.  I’m a graduate student at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs studying public policy and nonprofit management.  I graduated with undergraduate degrees in Urban Planning/Community Development and Political Science from St. Cloud State University.

I created this site before my 2013 bike tour to raise money for St. Teresa Orphans Foundation as a place to upload the journey that I was about to experience.  Since then, it has grown.  In addition to the 2013 tour, I’ve added my 2014 tour from Avon, MN to Bangor, ME, and some of my other travel experiences.

I hope this page can be an inspiration for others who are interested in going on a cycling tour, traveling, or activities inspired to better the world through service to benefit the world.

  3. Jan. 19, 2015 Thank you Nick, for the fascinating conversation on the way home from the airport. You have refilled my cup of hope for the poorest parts of the world to survive. With your enthusiasm and faith in a God who knows the big picture, keep planting seeds of hope in the areas you enter. I am so pleased to have met you.
